No One Likes a Frowny Face

“No one likes a frowny face – there is a song about that, I think.  Smile and the world smiles with you.  In developing real spirituality you cannot be a sourpuss, because you have to be a blessing to people; they must enjoy your presence.  The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, and peace.  Be happy, and you will find that it works miracles with everybody around you.  And you really ought to smile even when you do not feel like it, because you become as you act.  Do you sing because you are happy, or are you happy because you sing?  If you are unhappy, try an experiment:  start singing.  I guarantee that you will not be unhappy very long.  We become as we act.”  Hartman Rector Jr.

If you chance to meet a frown,

Do not let it stay.

 

Quickly turn it upside down

And smile that frown away!
