"I'm Bored" Games

I love to play board games. So when I hear my kids say "I'm bored" I will usually say "well then go do your homework", or "your room needs to be cleaned", or "I could use some help with dinner". But if I am in a good mood, I will pull out some "bored" games. We had a great time as a family playing games ALL NIGHT on New Year's Eve. Here are some of our favorites:

Monopoly Deal...like Monopoly, only a card game and much shorter.

Mouse Trap...a classic that never gets old. (For the kids anyway)

Kaylee and Aaron's mice are about to be caught in the trap by your's truly :)

Battleship... a fun, quiet game...especially for Nathan. He will "play" by putting the pegs in and out of the holes for long stretches of time.

Disney Scene It?...A fun DVD trivia game about Disney shows.

So next time you hear "I'm bored" try pulling out the "bored" games and have some fun!
