Pause and Pose Game

Eric can make just about anything into a game...he gets that from his mom.  The other day, Eric made up a new game with the kids as we were watching TV together that soon became a big hit.  He would pause the show when the person on TV would make a funny or expressive face or action and then have the kids try to contort themselves to look like the paused image.  The kids would look at the screen, and then at the count of 3 they had to turn around and try to copy the same face.  Eric and I would judge who could imitate the person the best.  Nathan (my 2 year old) was hilarious!  He was surprisingly good at the game.  Try it out...it is pretty funny to see the great expressions that kids come up with!

What a cute idea!!! I need to try this to occupy and corral some of my (almost) 3-year-old's energy!
